Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies
Maintain and update job descriptions and ensure postings reflect role requirements accurately
Utilize various recruitment platforms, social media, and networking channels to attract qualified candidates
Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation programs
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking records
Assist with HR projects and initiatives including employee engagement, policy updates, and training
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR processes and programs
Qualification
Required
Three (3) years of human resource experience and high school diploma or equivalent required
Personal vehicle with a valid State of Alaska driver's license is required
Human Resources: 2 years (Required)
Ability to Commute: Anchorage, AK 99508 (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Anchorage, AK 99508: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Business, or related field highly preferred
Education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis to meet the minimum experience qualification
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR certification also highly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR systems (preferred)
