Responsibilities
Provide customer service to the public and government personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in an airport location
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, concourses, parking areas, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment and weather conditions
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required by post orders, and help to deter unauthorized entry
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management and coordinating notifications to appropriate airport and/or government contacts
Document patrols, observations, and incident details in required reports and logs, and communicate timely information to Allied Universal supervision and/or onsite stakeholders
Qualification
Required
20+ Years of Age
Valid Drivers License
Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
Preferred
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs
A Guard Card/license
Customer service experience
Comfortable using a computer or tablet
Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
