Responsibilities

Work with / take direction from senior engineers to design and implement Distributed Control System (DCS)-based and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based systems to meet customer specifications. This includes (but not limited to):
Create operator graphics for various industries
Configure logics to control processes
Create network and system architecture diagrams, with guidance
Set up systems (hardware and software) in the office or on customer sites
Develop and review technical documents such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), functional design specifications (FDS), hardware submittals, Turn Over Packages (TOPs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and others
Participate in system (hardware / software testing) efforts, either in office or occasionally at customer sites
Participate in assembly of hardware systems (server racks, panels, etc.)
Participate in various internal development projects
Provide support to other internal teams in support of project efforts, including but not limited to assisting with shipping receiving efforts, creation of packing lists / Bill of Ladings (BOLs), and various miscellaneous office tasks
Some local travel to customer sites
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Science engineering, graduating by 2026 or 2027
Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate technical concepts
Excellent customer service skills
Team attitude and willingness to coordinate projects internally
Willingness to learn and be part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team
Works well under pressure, sometimes meeting multiple and conflicting deadlines
Ability to apply critical thinking skills in the use of creative learning techniques (using all tools available to obtain solutions)
Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred

Prior work, internship, and/ or research experience in a professional setting
Strong experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office (MS Word and Excel)
Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware/ software functionality
