Responsibilities
Ideate, shoot, and edit high-quality video content tailored for TikTok and Youtube
Trend Spotting: Actively monitor social media channels for emerging trends, audio bytes, and memes, and quickly adapt them to fit our brand voice
Partner with the marketing and creative team to align video content with upcoming product launches, campaigns, and overall social media goals
Deep understanding of storytelling
Handle all editing, color grading, sound design, and text overlay (native in-app and via Adobe Suite)
Organize and maintain a library of video assets, b-roll, and final deliverables for easy access by the broader marketing team
Qualification
Required
4–5 years of experience shooting and editing video specifically for social media (either at an agency, in-house for a brand, or as a successful solo creator)
A strong reel or portfolio showcasing a variety of social-first video content, demonstrating a deep understanding of pacing, hooks, and platform nuances
Deep, native-level understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube algorithms, and what makes content perform well on each
Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects
Experience with professional camera equipment (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic) as well as high-end smartphone videography (iPhone 14/15 Pro)
Basic knowledge of studio lighting and audio capture (lapel mics, shotgun mics)
High level of autonomy, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive 'get-it-done' attitude
