Responsibilities
Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint On-Premises environments
Manage site collections, permissions, and user access to ensure security and compliance
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability
Collaborate with IT teams and business users to design and implement SharePoint solutions that meet organizational needs
Develop and enforce governance policies and best practices for SharePoint usage
Perform regular backups, patching, and upgrades of SharePoint environments
Create and maintain documentation related to SharePoint configurations, processes, and procedures
Provide end-user support and training to maximize adoption and effective use of SharePoint tools
Stay current with SharePoint updates, features, and industry trends to recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar role
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
Understanding of security and compliance standards related to SharePoint
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Microsoft Power Platform is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
