Responsibilities
Support documentation, validation, and authorization processes for existing and new IT systems
Identify, investigate, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents
Document system vulnerabilities and assist with remediation activities
Monitor and analyze alerts from SIEM, IDS, endpoint protection, firewalls, and network logs
Assist with IT security audits and maintenance of audit documentation
Review digital evidence to support incident investigations and mitigation efforts
Qualification
Required
1+ year of experience in cybersecurity or IT security (or equivalent education)
General understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and vulnerabilities
Basic knowledge of networking concepts and security methodologies
Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH
Preferred
2–3+ years of cybersecurity experience
Experience with SIEM, IDS, endpoint protection, or firewall technologies
Associate of (ISC)² certification or higher
Experience working in public-sector or regulated environments
