Administrative Intern
Main Line Health is seeking an Administrative Intern for the Summer of 2026 to provide hands-on experience in healthcare operations management. The role involves managing projects, collaborating with various departments, and developing leadership competencies under the mentorship of senior leaders.
Health Care
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with minimal supervision to manage assigned projects and deliverables, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and sound judgment
Partner with project sponsors to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics, ensuring timely completion and thoughtful evaluation to build management‑level competencies
Participate in high‑level meetings related to strategic planning, community health improvement, budgeting, quality, patient experience, and other operational priorities, as assigned
Apply project management methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma principles, to analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support organizational goals
Develop core professional and leadership competencies, including business acumen, organizational communication, relationship‑building, and executive‑level professionalism
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited graduate program pursuing a graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), Nursing (MSN), or another health or business-related field
Bachelors Degree Required
