Responsibilities
Provide project management oversight and leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, including scoping and initiation, planning and design, permitting and easement acquisition, civil and electrical construction, and project close-out
Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently with responsibility for cost, schedule, methods, and outcomes
Directly participate in tasks necessary for successful project execution; proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and drive resolution
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to establish objectives, timelines, risk assessments, milestones, and deliverables
Utilize project controls for budget and schedule management, forecasting, performance monitoring, and variance analysis
Maintain project schedules and plans; identify trends, forecast costs, and assess performance against budget targets
Resolve issues and ensure task completion by setting priorities and managing conflicts across team members and functional groups
Demonstrate a strong understanding of core project management concepts and the ability to learn internal processes and portfolio frameworks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an applicable profession, business, or technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Experience with SAP
Experience with Primavera P6
Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Teams
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Five (5) or more years of project management experience
Previous experience within a utility environment (underground utility experience strongly preferred)
Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)
