Consultant, Employee Engagement & Development

Mercedes-Benz USA is responsible for the sales, marketing and service of all Mercedes-Benz and Maybach products in the United States. The Advisor, Employee Engagement & Development leads the design, delivery, and administration of programs that strengthen employee engagement and retention throughout the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design and manage recognition and mentoring program initiatives, including vendor oversight
Lead communication and administration of the annual President’s Scholarship Award
Manage onboarding activities, including communication with new hires and hiring managers and scheduling orientation events
Facilitate orientation sessions and engagement program information sessions and training classes
Manage new hire and hiring manager resources and content, ensuring accuracy and relevancy
Optimize the mentoring platform to match employees with others who have the experience to align with employees’ needs in support of their growth and development
Manage vendor relationships, invoices/contracts, and reconciliation of budgets
Administer the Maybach Out retirement recognition program
Support Shining Star quarterly award administration

Required

Skilled in managing and evaluating vendor relationships
Highly organized, task-oriented, and able to maintain positive energy in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a service-focused setting
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills in a complex and ambiguous environment
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrates an ownership mindset with full accountability for assigned projects, requiring limited oversight
Strong teamwork and partnership skills aligned with the mission, vision, and values of Mercedes-Benz, HR, and the Talent Development team
Proven facilitation skills for both in-person and virtual training
Proficient in Excel for generating and analyzing reports
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience (or an equivalent combination of transferable experience and education)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a corporate environment; experience in Human Resources or Talent Development preferred
