Facilities Manager II

General Atomics Integrated Intelligence, Inc. (GA Intelligence) is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations while partnering with the Enterprise Facilities Organization to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facilities. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, responsible for maintaining building systems, managing vendors, and supporting construction and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Manage daily facilities operations, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, renovations, and minor construction projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for external maintenance vendors, contractors, and service providers
Partner with the Enterprise Facilities Organization to plan, design, and oversee construction, renovation, maintenance, and alteration projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, schedules, and budgets
Support enterprise-led capital projects by providing site requirements, cost inputs, and scheduling support
Ensure facilities operations comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Partner with Enterprise Security to support site access controls, security systems, and incident response
Track and manage facilities work orders, preventive maintenance programs, and service-level performance
Assist in managing facilities budgets, invoices, and vendor contracts
Promote a safe and sustainable work environment through adherence to safety practices and sustainability initiatives
Supervise and support facilities staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

Required

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, facilities management or a related discipline and nine or more years of progressive professional experience in facilities management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education
5+ years of experience in facilities operations, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
Strong working knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices
Experience coordinating vendors and contractors in an operational environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel occasionally to other sites as required
