Responsibilities
Define Salesforce architecture vision, patterns, and guardrails across Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ, Marketing, and Industry Clouds
Lead end-to-end solution design for complex, multi-org, and multi-cloud programs, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and compliance
Own technical governance: run architecture review boards, approve designs, and enforce standards, reusable assets, and best practices
Partner with business, product, and delivery leaders to translate roadmaps into actionable Salesforce architectures and delivery plans
Guide data and integration strategy, including API-led connectivity, MDM, event-driven architectures, and data platform alignment
Champion DevSecOps for Salesforce: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality, and secure-by-design principles
Provide hands-on technical leadership on critical programs (spikes, PoCs, complex integrations, performance tuning)
Mentor and upskill architects, technical leads, and developers; build a high-caliber architecture community of practice
Support pre-sales and RFPs with solution blueprints, estimations, and executive-ready architecture narratives
Qualification
Required
10+ years in Salesforce platform delivery, with 5+ years in lead/architect roles on enterprise-scale programs
Proven track record architecting large, multi-cloud Salesforce implementations (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ, or Industry Clouds)
Experience working in or alongside enterprise architecture functions, aligning Salesforce with broader application, data, and security landscapes
Deep expertise in Salesforce core architecture: org strategy, data model, security model, sharing design, and integration patterns
Strong hands-on background with Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs (REST/SOAP), platform events, and Salesforce DX
Solid understanding of integration technologies (MuleSoft or equivalent iPaaS, ETL/ELT tools, message queues, event buses)
Experience designing for scalability, resiliency, and observability; familiarity with performance tuning and large-data-volume patterns
Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices: branching strategies, CI/CD, test automation, code analysis, and release governance
Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term architecture vision with pragmatic delivery constraints
Excellent executive communication; able to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders and steer decision-making
Strong influence skills; comfortable challenging assumptions, mediating trade-offs, and building consensus across business and IT
Proven coaching and mentoring capabilities, elevating the technical bar across teams and projects
