Litigation Legal Secretary

Law Practice
Responsibilities
Perform administrative responsibilities and collaborate with attorneys, legal support staff and various firm departments
Open new matters, interface with and establish ongoing positive business relationships with clients
Create, format, edit, proofread, and manage Word documents
Draft routine correspondence and forms
Track, organize, and process expense reports, reimbursements, and check requests using Chrome River
Manage and maintain lawyers’ schedules and calendars
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience as a litigation-focused legal administrative assistant required
Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and manage competing demands from multiple attorneys, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism
Strong technical, organizational and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with and knowledge of e-filing in state and federal court
Preferred
Some college preferred
Experience with Milana a plus
