Director of Project Delivery
NGEN Mission Critical is a global operation focused on critical power and thermal infrastructure needs. The Director of Project Delivery will coordinate the entire customer lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget while leading the project delivery organization.

Responsibilities
Act as the single point of ownership for the customer lifecycle, from pre-sale engagement through post-delivery support
Support pre-sale activity by contributing to RFP responses, proposal reviews, and technical deviation tracking
Own order intake and order management workflows, including NetSuite demand creation, purchase order validation, and submittal confirmation
Develop and maintain detailed project plans that track scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
Manage change orders and ensure scope, cost, and timeline impacts are clearly documented and communicated
Coordinate factory acceptance testing, ensuring readiness, documentation, and alignment across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing partners
Lead project handoffs to Supply Chain and Field Operations, maintaining continuity and accountability throughout execution
Serve as the primary technical and project-facing contact for customers, providing regular updates, issue resolution, and clear communication
Partner with engineering and field teams on root cause analysis and corrective action reporting
Build and lead a new Project Delivery organization, with an initial focus on project management, technical coordination, documentation, customer success, and warranty
Define and track success metrics including schedule and budget variance, FAT and SAT outcomes, customer satisfaction, document completeness, and repeat business
Ability to travel up to 30% for client meetings, on-site visits, and factory tours
Qualification
Required
Direct experience working in mission critical environments where five-nines reliability is the standard, such as data centers or critical infrastructure projects
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Hands-on experience with at least one core product category such as: transformers, diesel generators, UPS systems, switchgears or similar large-scale electrical equipment
Demonstrated experience leading projects across multiple disciplines, balancing technical detail with execution and communication
Proven ability to build, lead, and develop teams, whether from the ground up or through periods of rapid growth
Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, with experience using structured project planning software
Experience working within ERP systems such as NetSuite or an equivalent platform
Comfort operating in environments with real delivery risk, tight timelines, and financial accountability
Background at equipment manufacturers, EPCs, general contractors, or organizations accustomed to liquidated damages and high-stakes delivery environments considered a strong asset
Ability to travel up to 30% for client meetings, on-site visits, and factory tours
