Responsibilities
Independently perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of interior design for projects of moderate size and complexity
Conduct field evaluations and assessments
Coordinate and follow through all elements of design or construction documentation
Perform analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts
Prepare project specifications as requested
Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards
Beginning clients and outside consultant contact
Work under the general guidance of a senior project team member
Qualification
Required
2+ years of relevant experience as a Designer/Drafter for Interior Design projects
Completion of Bachelor's in Architecture or Master's in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program, with a minor or emphasis in Interior Design
Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this position
Growing awareness of code limitations
Demonstrated skills and talent in Revit / BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp modeling, Adobe Photoshop, and preparation of presentation materials
Strong verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Commitment to their own professional growth as designer
Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills and strong follow-through
Preferred
