Responsibilities
Develop project plans and oversee design
Design and manage a range of municipal improvement projects
Conduct street design and needs assessments
Perform technical analysis on new and modified streets
Maintain city-wide maps, plans, and thoroughfare plans
Integrate traffic engineering principles into designs for signals, signs, and lights
Manage project databases as directed
Research and prepare technical reports and business correspondence
Provide engineering support in the field
Conduct site visits and fieldwork as required
Attend project-related meetings
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to handle a range of technical tasks under time-sensitive deadlines
Proficiency in reading reports and presenting information
Multitasking and workload management across multiple projects
Public presentation experience
Familiarity with stormwater modeling software
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, MicroStation, and OpenRoads
Knowledge of municipal engineering, wastewater, stormwater management, and water supply principles
At least 10 years of relevant experience, with salary negotiable based on skills and experience
B.S. in Civil Engineering
Current Ohio PE license
