Responsibilities
Build dock designs using AutoCAD
Prepare and build proposals for new dock, lift, and seawall projects
Follow up on open proposals via phone and email, as directed by management (e.g., per Nick)
Assist clients with selections, including decking colors, canopy colors, and processing change orders
Help collect progress invoices to ensure smooth project billing
Answer phones as needed to support the team
Provide assistance to project leads (e.g., Kevin and Nikki) on specific questions related to new construction jobs
Handle various administrative tasks using Microsoft Word and Excel; willingness to learn internal software programs is essential
Qualification
Required
Experience with AutoCAD for design work
Strong customer service and sales orientation, with comfort in making phone calls and resolving customer issues
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred
Some background in construction or engineering is preferred
