Required

Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I)
Must possess or be able to obtain American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or UC Davis Health CPR within 3 months of hire date
Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Must possess Certified Phlebotomy experience
Must possess previous supervisory and/or lead experience
Possesses effective written and oral communication skills
Possesses excellent interpersonal and team management skills to effectively collaborate with physicians, technologists, nursing and other staff
Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, occupational hazards and safety precautions
Ability to timely manage staff with fairness and respect and follow the Principles of Community
Ability to work productively in a busy and complex environment, meet deadlines and to remain flexible within a variety of changing demands
Ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgment when setting priorities
Ability to function and work effectively in a diverse work environment and identify and work through conflict to a positive resolution
Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and utilizes resources effectively for resolution

Knowledge of hospital and Laboratory Information System (LIS), EMR, hospital Incident Report System (RL Solutions), email, Internet, Microsoft Office and data management software

Possesses excellent problem solving skills and utilizes resources effectively for resolution
Ability to timely manage staff with fairness and respect and follow the Principles of Community
