Responsibilities

Work with business stakeholders throughout Amazon and provide technical direction and business expertise to strategize and help launch new businesses and features for our customers
Use data to justify customer friendly decisions and present customer and financial impact of the changes we make to our stakeholders
Work closely with other economists, engineers, product managers, applied scientists, TPMs, managers, and senior leadership team to understand and drive business impact

PhD in economicsAnalytics experienceStatistical modelingR programmingPython programmingSTATA softwareCommunication skillsProject management

Required

PhD in economics or equivalent

Preferred

Experience in analytics and applied economics
Experience in developing and executing an analytic vision to solve business-relevant problems
Experience in building statistical models using R, Python, STATA, or a related software
Experience in industry, consulting, government or academic research
