Head of Finance

They are seeking a hands-on Head of Finance to lead the company’s financial operations, planning, and performance management as they continue to scale. The role involves leading core finance work, managing financial operations, and partnering with executive leadership on strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute core finance work directly while building and mentoring a small, high-impact team
Own end-to-end financial operations, including accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness
Lead revenue accounting for a SaaS recurring revenue business, including deferred revenue and revenue recognition
Manage cash, working capital, and liquidity planning, including forecasting and day-to-day cash oversight
Lead enterprise financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cross-functional planning, and performance reporting
Develop financial models, KPIs, and dashboards that improve visibility and decision-making
Lead post-acquisition financial integration for acquired businesses, including consolidation of financials, reporting, and operating metrics
Support integration of finance systems, controls, and operating cadence to ensure timely, accurate, and scalable reporting post-close
Partner with the CEO and executive leadership on strategy, investment decisions, and resource allocation

Required

10+ years of finance leadership experience, spanning accounting and FP&A
Strong enterprise SaaS/recurring revenue experience, including GAAP reporting and revenue recognition
Proven ability to scale finance operations in a growth-stage environment, building processes and infrastructure that support growth
High degree of operational rigor, with experience establishing disciplined forecasting, budgeting, KPI reporting, and internal controls
Ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations & GTM leadership to drive data-backed decision-making and accountability; ability to translate financial insights into clear business actions
Excellent analytical, modeling, and communication skills, with executive-level presence
