Design bridges and roadway structures per IDOT/Tollway standards
Perform structural analysis and review shop drawings
Lead design meetings and coordinate with multi-discipline teams
Mentor junior engineers and support professional development
Conduct bridge inspections per FHWA/NHI guidelines
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis); MS a plus
5+ years bridge design or inspection experience
PE in Illinois required; SE preferred or obtainable within 1 year
NHI bridge inspection training required
Preferred
IDOT/Tollway experience a plus
Experience with MicroStation and structural analysis software preferred
