The Global Supply Chain Management Intern will support the sourcing and management of ESS direct materials, gaining hands-on experience in launching and scaling a cutting-edge battery product.

Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of supply chain strategies for ESS components
Conduct supplier research and help draft RFIs/RFQs for critical components
Support supplier onboarding, including vetting, qualification, and data management
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds by tracking material readiness, managing build plans, and ensuring on-time Clear to Build (CTB) status
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to support NPI & Pilot builds
Assist with logistics planning and cost optimization for international and domestic shipments
Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
Strong analytical and organizational skills; proficient in Excel and/or data analysis tools
Interest in clean tech, energy storage, and/or domestic manufacturing policy
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Self-starter with a willingness to dive into ambiguity and solve problems
Preferred
Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, operations, or procurement is a plus
