Responsibilities
Conduct a comprehensive review of the current FAA billing backlog to identify gaps, errors, and unbilled items
Execute "clean-up" procedures to get all billing accurate, submitted, and caught up to current requirements
Ensure all project billing aligns with FAA and government contracting standards
Work quickly to clear the queue and provide a summary of findings to the Finance leadership team upon project completion
Qualification
Required
Previous experience with FAA billing or high-level government contract billing (DCAA/FAR) is strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to navigate complex billing modules
Proven track record of cleaning up aged receivables or billing backlogs in a technical or defense environment
Ability to operate with minimal guidance and deliver results in a fast-paced 'special project' environment
