Program Director

College Internship Program Inc is a private young adult transition program for individuals with autism and other learning differences. The Program Director is responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring effective programming and service delivery, and managing admissions to meet enrollment goals.

Responsibilities

Builds, implements and executes strategies (objectives, priorities, and planning)
Oversees and manages site operations
Maintains enrollment and retention
Assesses and evaluates the overall quality of the program
Performs financial management (budgeting, spending, purchasing) and risk management (compliance and regulation)
Assists and conducts employee recruiting and hiring
Fosters talent development and future leadership (succession planning)
Cultivates team culture and positive environment
Analyzes external trends and policies
Builds and maintains key external business and professional relationships
Monitors and reports center performance and outcome metrics
Creates and develops a long-term vision, direction, and influence

Required

Advanced education (graduate degree or doctorate required)
Proven experience in a leadership position (5+ years experience in relevant fields required)
Thorough understanding of business and educational management techniques and methods required
Excellent knowledge of educational performance evaluation techniques and key metrics required
Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and budgeting required
Business acumen with a strategic ability required
Excellent organizational and leadership skills required
An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities required
Exceptional communication skills
Precise attention to detail
Superior organization and prioritization skills
Self-motivation in managing tasks to completion
Genuine empathy and awareness of the needs and sensitivities of prospective families, students, and staff

Preferred

Education, training, or career experience in approaches, methods, and support for persons with autism spectrum disorder and/or learning differences are highly preferred
Experience in the field of autism and/or learning disabilities is highly preferred
