Engineering Services Electrician

They are seeking an Engineering Services Electrician to support program test operations, collaborating with multi-disciplined teams to ensure timely execution and completion of established goals while providing electrical support and general facility maintenance.

Responsibilities
Support mission execution test events for our radars or missile flight tests, which could include travel to various sites on range
Provide electrical support to technicians and engineers on a variety of tasks
50% travel is required to support assigned systems. Travel is both within WSMR and to other US locations, with the possibility of global support
Provide support in a field-testing environment
General facility maintenance
Support to MCVC as needed outside of primary duties
Qualification
Required
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Experience with either machining, welding, fabrication, engineering or design techniques
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
Preferred
Ability to analyze and solve problems in real time
Certifications/Qualifications/Licenses in the electrician field
Ability to independently prioritize work in alignment with schedule and budget
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Experience in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve common goals
