Responsibilities

Drive the integration of our multi-day energy storage packs, ensuring mechanical and electrical designs are unified
Act as the technical liaison between all sub-system design teams to execute on a common product vision
Apply a systems-thinking approach to product architecture and design
Manage and grow a world-class team of integration and design engineers, from hands-on technical guidance to long term career development
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers at Form Factory to ensure the product is designed for high volume manufacturing (DFM)
Work closely with cross functional partners, such as supply chain and field services, to execute on the delivery of a comprehensive pack product

Required

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; with 10+ years of industry experience
Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and mentoring direct reports
Experience designing for high-volume manufacture in a hardware product development company
Experience defining products and engineering requirements, and implementing FMEA principles
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred

Energy storage / large industrial equipment / high power product experience is a plus
