They are seeking a part-time After School Site Program Manager for the Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver to organize program materials, deliver curriculum, and ensure the well-being of children in their care.

Responsibilities
Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
Meets regularly with the Area Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability
Qualification
Required
Must be 21 years or older
One year of supervisory experience
Verifiable education/experience
Four-year degree education, elementary education, specialty in art/human service (social work, psych, etc.); OR 2yr degrees and 6mo (910 hrs) of experience from the age of 18; OR 5, 460 hrs of experience (2-3yrs) w/ 6 semesters of schooling or 40 clocked hours of training for school-aged children
Currently live locally in Denver or the surrounding area
Able to work M-F from 2:100-6:00 pm (may vary slightly due to site location) and any early release school days 12:30 pm-6:00 pm (hours will vary slightly due to school locations)
Works well in a team environment
One year of supervisory/management experience
Ability to lift 40lbs
Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
Ability to meet state-specific requirements; LIVE Scan Fingerprint, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate/ Cleared TB, CPR/FA
Preferred
Experience working with children under 13 years of age is a PLUS
