Senior Level, Lead/StaffThe Personnel Consulting Group is representing MSMM Engineering, which is seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Lead Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex civil and structural engineering projects. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently while complying with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities
Lead the civil and structural design of projects from concept through detailed design and construction support
Develop and review structural analysis, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Ensure compliance with relevant local and international codes, standards, and best engineering practices
Provide expert technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers
Act as the primary technical point of contact for civil/structural discipline matters
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, contractors, and stakeholders
Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and design changes during construction
Ensure designs meet MSMM Engineering quality standards and project requirements
Identify and manage technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
Support constructability reviews and value engineering initiatives
Promote health, safety, and sustainability principles in all designs
Qualification
Required
Experience in civil and structural engineering projects
Technical leadership skills
Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
Expertise in structural design for civil infrastructure projects such as levees, floodwalls, T-walls, I-walls, pump stations, drainage structures, water and wastewater facilities
Proficiency in developing and reviewing structural analysis, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Knowledge of relevant local and international codes, standards, and best engineering practices
Experience in providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers
Ability to act as the primary technical point of contact for civil/structural discipline matters
Coordination skills with other engineering disciplines, architects, contractors, and stakeholders
Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Ability to review contractor submittals, RFIs, and design changes during construction
Commitment to ensuring designs meet quality standards and project requirements
Skills in identifying and managing technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
