3+ years expHolt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We are seeking an experienced heavy equipment Shop Service Technician to provide high-quality repair service in a shop environment, ensuring customer needs are met in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulics, engine, transmissions, HVAC and electrical issues, and other repairs necessary
Able to document all work orders properly
Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose Tier 4 systems
Qualification
Required
Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulics, engine, transmissions, HVAC and electrical issues, and other repairs necessary
At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure
Able to document all work orders properly
Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose Tier 4 systems
Must have steady employment
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license
Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc
Must be able to lift 50-lbs., approximately 10 times a day
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required
Excellent attendance required
Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level
Ability to work with limited supervision
Must have own tools
Preferred
CAT ET & CAT SiS 2.0 knowledge preferred
Completion of a diesel technology program is highly desired
