Develop, schedule, and coordinate day camp activities
Schedule, supervise, lead, and evaluate staff
Institute and enforce camp rules and discipline/reward procedures for participants and staff
Ensure participant welfare during all activities, trips, and transportation
Ensure the proper handling of first-aid and emergency situations
Train and orient day camp staff and volunteers
Prepare program and staff evaluations
Communicate with parents regarding participants' progress and special needs
Qualification
Required
Must have one year supervisory experience
Must possess or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
Must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must be 18+ by time of hire
