Responsibilities

Oversee a global team of Digital Product Owners and Regional Deployment Leads, ensuring alignment to product vision, business priorities, and enterprise outcomes
Guide the development and deployment of Caterpillar’s Network Planning & Execution suite of digital products, enhancing end‑to‑end demand and supply alignment across the enterprise
Build, refine, and execute the digital product roadmap—accelerating capability delivery while meeting cost, quality, and timeline commitments
Lead a global digital product organization, including seven direct reports, providing coaching, performance management, and strategic direction
Partner closely with operations to monitor product performance, adoption, and value creation
Analyze user feedback, operational data, and business needs to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and shape new features
Establish and maintain clear reporting on product quality, usage, and business impact
Work with business process owners, procurement, supply chain leadership, and other stakeholders to position, promote, and scale digital capabilities across the organization
Coordinate with IT and external technology partners to deliver new releases and features on schedule and within budget
Ensure seamless integration of digital tools into business processes, driving engagement and long‑term adoption

Required

Expert level decision making and critical thinking
Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
Ability to translate business needs into actionable product strategies and measurable outcomes
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
Understanding effective communication concepts, tools and techniques
Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
Strong understanding of digital product development and enterprise-scale deployment
Ability to operate and manage digital product development projects at all stages of the product development lifecycle
Ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff
Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product
Ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision
Proven experience leading global teams in a complex, matrixed environment
A passion for building digital capabilities that transform how organizations operate

Preferred

Experience and domain knowledge in supply planning
Material Requirements Planning (MRP or ERP) systems
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP, SIOP, or Integrated Business Planning)
Capacity Planning methodologies, such as Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)
Relevant supply planning technology platforms such as e2open, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, Kinaxis, or similar
APICS CSCP certification or similar
