NEOGOV is seeking an Administrative Assistant 2 for the Division of Banking & Securities located in Juneau, Alaska. Responsibilities

Coordinate, oversee, and perform paraprofessional administrative and program support tasks guided by policy, procedure, and regulation
Perform regulatory tasks that extend the capacity of professional and technical level examiners plus investigators in the licensing, examination, and enforcement of the financial industry
Provide executive support to the Division Operations Manager
Focus day-to-day on the agency’s budget, expenditure and revenue tracking, licensing support, and website tasks while maintaining responsibility for all functional areas and tasks listed
Evaluate data and processes, apply administrative policies, make recommendations, and implement changes to office procedures

Required

Six months of entry-level technical experience in one or more administrative functional areas such as human resources, accounting, administration, and procurement
One year of advanced-level clerical experience
One year of post-secondary education from an accredited college (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours equals 1 year)
One year of any combination of post-secondary education, vocational education, and/or advanced-level clerical experience
Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work
Shows understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, concern, and politeness to others; develops and maintains effective relationships with others
Uses efficient learning techniques to acquire and apply new knowledge and skills
Identifies rules, principles, or relationships that explain facts, data, or other information; analyzes information and makes correct inferences or draws accurate conclusions
Recognizes or uses correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; communicates information in a succinct and organized manner
