Responsibilities
Own each customer experience from beginning to end by accurately preparing and ringing sales, packaging carry out merchandise appropriately, placing special orders, facilitating the gift wrap and shipping processes as needed, and following up on all merchandise requiring special handling for the respective department
Assist in maintaining the function and visual presentation of the sales floor by dusting and straightening displays, restocking merchandise as needed, and replenishing cash wrap supplies such as bags, tissue paper and receipt paper
Achieve monthly targets
Drive business through establishing customer relationships
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality is required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
At least six months of sales experience in a department store setting, or six months professional customer contact (i.e., public relations, customer service, high volume receptionist)
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
This job requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, talking, listening, reaching, standing, bending, stooping, lifting up to 30 pounds and pulling/pushing carts
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality is required
Preferred
Experience selling in a ladies shoes department store environment preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, and interpersonal skills
Motivated and driven by sales targets
Superior customer service & teamwork skills. Proven ability to build relationships
Good math and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and professional disposition
Comfortable taking initiative and driving business results
Experience with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
