Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Assists management and other staff in completion of various projects and long term assignments
Information Gathering: Provides assistance to staff by gathering pertinent information to complete a project or task assigned. Information is gathered from internal and external sources such as the Internet. Responsible for compiling information gathered into a presentation format
Provides other assistance and completes assignments specific to department as directed by management
Qualification
Required
High School or GED (Required)
Junior or senior-level college student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or other related fields. NOTE: Graduate level or postgraduate level applicants will not be considered
Strong organizational skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team
Professional and flexible self-starter and self-motivator
Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office or Desktop publishing as required by the department
Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Preferred
Past project management experience and previous internship experience are preferred
Familiarity with AP style
