Responsibilities

Ensure that mission-critical electrical systems are installed, tested, and functioning according to the design intent. This role spans the entire project lifecycle—from design review and factory testing to final integrated systems testing (IST) and facility handover
Execute Level 1–5 commissioning for critical systems, including UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies), MV/LV Switchgear, Generators, ATS/STS, and PDUs
Develop and review commissioning plans, Functional Performance Tests (FPT), and Integrated System Testing (IST) scripts
Identify, document, and resolve complex electrical faults and design discrepancies during the startup phase
Analyze one-line diagrams, schematics, and submittals to ensure compliance with owner project requirements (OPR)
Enforce strict adherence to NFPA 70E and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures on-site
Act as a technical liaison between owners, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met safely

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent military training (e.g., Navy Nuclear program)
5–10 years of commissioning experience, with a heavy preference for Data Centers, Semiconductor Fabs, or similar high-reliability industrial facilities
Familiarity with NETA testing standards and ASHRAE commissioning guidelines
Experience with commissioning software (e.g., CxAlloy, Bluebeam, Procore) and power monitoring systems (EPMS/SCADA)
