Responsibilities
Support the production of marketing and communication materials across print and digital platforms, including flyers, signage, social media graphics, email graphics, presentations, forms, and basic web assets
Assist with preparing files for print and digital distribution, ensuring accuracy, formatting, and adherence to YMCA brand standards
Make routine design updates, revisions, resizing, and versioning based on provided direction and established templates
Organize and maintain creative files, assets, and templates within shared digital systems (SharePoint and related platforms)
Support the Senior Creative Director with project coordination tasks, including tracking revisions, organizing feedback, and preparing materials for review
Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team members to meet deadlines and support campaign execution
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
0–2 years of professional or internship experience in graphic design or visual communications
Digital portfolio of relevant design work. (Please submit link when applying.)
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Familiarity with basic print production concepts (file setup, bleeds, resolution, formats)
Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools and shared file systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established brand guidelines
Ability to receive direction, manage feedback, and complete tasks efficiently
Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid pivots; a proactive problem-solver who enjoys a brisk pace
Demonstrates a growth mindset, viewing every challenge as an opportunity to learn and every teammate as a potential collaborator
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field preferred; comparable professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
