Training & Development Coordinator

They are seeking a Training and Development Coordinator to support the execution of training programs, coordinate onboarding activities, and assist with employee development initiatives to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support onboarding sessions for new hires, including safety orientation and introduction to production processes
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of training materials (manuals, visual aids, sign-in sheets, and digital resources)
Track training completion, certifications, and employee participation using internal systems and tools; maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Schedule and organize training sessions across various shifts to ensure full team coverage
Collaborate with trainers, supervisors, and department leads to identify training needs and schedule appropriate sessions
Support translation of training materials and communications for Spanish-speaking employees
Assist with delivering group training sessions or one-on-one instruction as needed
Help coordinate cross-training and skills development programs to enhance workforce flexibility
Monitor training feedback and escalate areas of concern to the Training Supervisor for follow-up or process improvement
Translate documents and perform administrative tasks as needed

Required

Associate degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Industrial Education, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
2+ years of experience in a training or administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) is required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple training schedules and records
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-based environment and interact with both office and floor-level staff

Preferred

Basic knowledge of instructional techniques and adult learning principles is a plus
