Talent Acquisition Specialist (Fixed-Term)

Responsibilities
Use data and metrics, and an understanding of the long-term business requirements, to advise on the implications of talent gaps. Support the development of recruiting processes and strategies
Apply deep knowledge of business and hiring managers' needs (e.g., time to hire, location, compensation) and use this knowledge to guide the development of end-to-end hiring plans aligned to the needs of the business group
Consults on critical talent needs and opportunities. Present and frame information in a way that speaks to the needs of the business, and influences leaders to embrace differentiated and alternative types of talent
Uses deep knowledge of competitor opportunities to differentiate Woodside’s unique career possibilities, advantages, and rewards and leverages a consistent, compelling message that conveys the most significant motivators to prospective candidates
Tracks candidate activity and share with internal stakeholders
Own the candidate experience and prepare candidates for the next phase of the process
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience, ideally from an in‑house talent acquisition team or within a client‑focused agency environment
Full end‑to‑end recruitment experience, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination
Strong ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and candidates
Proven success direct sourcing, negotiating and closing high-profile competitive or hard‑to‑fill markets
Preferred
Exposure to recruiting for a variety of professional roles (e.g., engineering, project controls, finance, legal, or similar functions)
Hands-on experience using search tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter or equivalent platforms
Familiarity with SuccessFactors or other large ATS/HRIS/ERP systems
A degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory
