HR Operations Supervisor - CE Events

Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise CE HR Operations Center processes, staff, escalated inquiries, compliance, and daily operations
Support hiring, training, reporting, process and policy improvements, Workday expertise, and communication of program or policy changes
Serve as HR subject matter expert for hiring, payroll, compliance, strategy, and stakeholder support for FLSA-exempt contract employees
Design, configure, document, and manage hiring/payroll solutions, contracts, payroll processing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify out-of-state program operations and determine withholding and reporting requirements
Coordinate with general counsel, OSAC, and Payroll Office to ensure compliant payroll setup and processing
Qualification
Required
A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
Bachelor's degree OR 3 years of professional experience including human resources, payroll processing and reconciliation, accounting, or related bookkeeping functions OR relevant combination of education and experience
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend
Preferred
Master's degree
SHRM certification
5 years of professional experience including payroll processing and reconciliation, accounting, or related bookkeeping functions
Familiarity with university operations, such as hiring, payroll, and part-time employee contracting
Previous training with data entry and university ERP system for HR/payroll
