Data Intel Analyst
The Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice is seeking a Part-time Data Intel Analyst for the Hartford Judicial District. This role involves collecting and analyzing crime trend data to support prosecutorial decision-making and assist in the Hartford Community Court Enhancement Project.

Responsibilities
Identify and collect crime trend data from local jurisdictions to better prosecute and adjudicate criminal cases, particularly detecting cases involving persistent offenders
Identify and collect treatment and case disposition data to assist court social workers in more effectively treating defendants while still holding them accountable for their actions
Identify and collect case processing and disposition data to assist our research partner, the University of Connecticut
Act as the primary contact for data collection matters with our research partner and the court
Maintain working relationships with Hartford Community Court partners and stakeholders for the sharing of information
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience in data collection and interpretation
Experience working with a research team
Three to five years of professional experience working in either the legal or law enforcement field or court system
Preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Capability to work independently as well as in a team
Capability to collaborate with other state agencies and nonprofit human services organizations
Strong data gathering, analysis, and interpretation skills
