Responsibilities
Transport mail from building 650 Shipping/Receiving for distribution around FLETC site
Operate FLETC Post Office counter during specific times
Sort and deliver USPS mail throughout the FLETC site
Weigh, meter and mail all Government and personal envelopes/packages
Account for all money used during postal process
Must always control and secure all mail items
Sort and place mail in staff and student mail pick up boxes
Dispense stamps and packaging materials
Check with warehouse specialists at building 650 twice during the morning and twice during the afternoon (phone call or stop in) for delivered mail items that need distributing
Track mail data and generate monthly mail report
Request assistance from the Student Support Manager when there is a heavy workload
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Must be familiar with Federal mail distribution regulations
Must have a valid SC issued REAL ID /Passport and be able to operate a motor vehicle
Must be able to push, pull and or lift 60 lbs. repeatedly while mounting/dismounting truck
Must be a US Citizen
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suits and Outlook
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam
Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm
