Email Marketing Specialist
Military.com exists to serve the U.S. military community by delivering news, resources, tools, and expert insights. The Email Marketing Specialist will own, execute, and optimize email marketing programs to drive revenue through lead generation and lifecycle campaigns, blending strategy, creativity, and data.

Responsibilities
Plan, build, and deploy email campaigns including newsletters, promotions, lifecycle, and automated flows
Write, edit, and optimize email copy with a strong focus on engagement and conversion
Design or collaborate on email layouts that are mobile-first and on-brand
Segment audiences and personalize campaigns based on behavior, preferences, and performance data
Manage email calendars and ensure timely, error-free sends
Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, copy, design, and send times
Monitor key performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversions, deliverability, churn)
Optimize campaigns based on insights and best practices
Maintain list hygiene and ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regulations
Collaborate with content, growth, and design teams to align messaging across channels
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in email marketing or lifecycle marketing
Hands-on experience with email platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Braze, Salesforce, etc.)
Strong copywriting and editing skills
Solid understanding of email marketing best practices and deliverability
Experience with segmentation, automation, and A/B testing
Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics
Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
