They are seeking a Mainframe Developer IV to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for mainframe technologies, participate in infrastructure planning, and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives involving mainframe application migrations.

Responsibilities
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for mainframe technologies
Participate in infrastructure planning and provide insight into future technology direction
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging mainframe infrastructure
Establish, maintain, document, and publish mainframe language standards, development tool strategies, and technology roadmaps
Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives involving mainframe application migrations
Demonstrate broad technical knowledge across multiple technologies or deep expertise in a specific technology and its impact on related systems
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies; quickly learn and apply new concepts
Build productive relationships with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and industry peers
Ensure thorough documentation of complex technical systems to support effective operational handoff
Lead implementation efforts, including analyzing vendor proposals, evaluating build-versus-buy options, developing project plans, defining critical paths, coordinating vendors, conducting testing, and tracking project progress
Qualification
Required
Technical degree or equivalent professional experience
Experience across multiple disciplines within the mainframe domain
Strong application design and development skills
Expert-level knowledge of mainframe operating systems and hardware
