Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics

Responsibilities
Develop a strong active externally funded research program that leads to scholarly publications
Develop and deliver course materials to undergraduate and graduate students in traditional, hybrid, and online platforms demonstrating teaching excellence and high-quality and high impact teaching pedagogy
Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
Establish and/or maintain a quality publication record
Contribute both institutionally and professionally through active service
Collaborate across campus and contribute to service in the areas of Power Electronics Systems and Advanced Energy Systems
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in a closely related discipline from an accredited program by the time the appointment begins
Experience in academic, research lab, and/or industry and notable accomplishments in a related field
Demonstrated potential for excellence in research, teaching, and student mentorship
Evidence or potential of interdisciplinary collaboration or engagement with power electronics
