Project Administrator Commercial Power Generation
Cummins Inc. is seeking a talented Project Administrator in their Sales team. In this role, you will support day-to-day project activities, track project issues, and assist with project planning and financial oversight to ensure efficient project execution.

Responsibilities
Serve as a reliable project resource by supporting day‑to‑day project activities, applying foundational project management practices and general business understanding to keep work moving efficiently
Track and resolve project issues by identifying risks and concerns early, collaborating with cross‑functional partners, and escalating appropriately to support timely resolution
Monitor and communicate project status by maintaining clear visibility into milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, and ensuring consistent updates to the project team and Project Manager
Support project planning and financial oversight through budget tracking, research, and analytical support, contributing to the development of project plans, timelines, and resource forecasts
Assist with project risk management and quality assurance by using established quality tools to identify risk areas and support mitigation planning throughout the project lifecycle
Capture and share project learnings by documenting outcomes, best practices, and insights, and applying lessons learned from past experiences to improve project execution and collaboration
Maintain accurate project records and measures by managing project notes, databases, and reporting tools, and monitoring progress on specific assignments to support informed decision‑making
Manage defined portions of projects and provide operational support by overseeing well‑scoped tasks, handling administrative and logistical needs, and enabling the project team and Project Manager to focus on strategic priorities
Qualification
Required
College, university, or equivalent degree required
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
Minimal level of relevant work experience required
Strong Time Management and Prioritization Skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing deadlines, and ensure timely completion of documentation and approvals in a fast-paced environment
High Attention to Detail and Data Accuracy
Proven capability to review, validate, and maintain accurate data across multiple systems, identifying gaps or inconsistencies and taking corrective action
Organizational and Process Discipline
Ability to organize large volumes of project data and documentation, follow standardized processes, and maintain clear tracking mechanisms to support auditability and reporting
Effective Communication Skills
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal, when coordinating with internal teams and external parties to request, clarify, and follow up on required information
Preferred
Prior Experience in Data Entry or Data Management
Experience working with structured data, document control, or project tracking systems is preferred
Familiarity with Credit Approval or Financial Documentation Processes
Exposure to credit review workflows, financial documentation, or compliance-driven processes is a plus but not required
