Responsibilities
Greets and provides customer service to fitness center guests
Performs administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, record maintenance, etc
Ensures the fitness equipment is in accurate working order by cleaning and maintaining equipment, reports maintenance needs to management
Ensures staff are adhering to NCED/Aramark policies and procedures
Ensures guests are adhering to fitness center safety policies and procedures
Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc
Upkeep Fitness Center by actively cleaning and maintaining weight room, pool, gymnasium, and hallways
Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in the fitness industry or related role (1-2 years) preferred
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
CPR/First Aid certification required
Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
Preferred
Degree in field of study (Kinesiology, Health exercise science, etc.) preferred
