Responsibilities
Facilitate Jobs Programs: Required interviewing and hiring of both Office Assistant 3 and Incarcerated Individuals. Compiling and following through the referral process for the Incarcerated Individuals' programing of Facility Recreations, Religion, Library, Education, Redemption courses. Conducting interviews and overseeing finalized accuracy in applications submitted by both Incarcerated Individuals and OA3 Applicants for the appropriate programing and job duties. Ensure Certification and completion of programs for Incarcerated Individuals
Audits: Audit and review hiring applications, Incarcerated Individuals rosters, job referral list, job waiting lists, job availability tracker, time sheets, hub access clearance distribution, medical/laid in confirmations & accountability, DOC policy and procedures
Training/Supervision: Train OA3 and eight or more Incarcerated Individuals in the clerk pool area. Train Incarcerated Individuals in time keeping and employment opportunities. Create new job descriptions as required for 1/1 and postings. Perform interviews. Supervisor Incarcerated Individuals and Redemption programs. Provide statistical report updates of pay rates and vital employment changes for accuracy to upper management
Call Out Coordinator: Provide Instruction and access to staff as needed for proper location of program time and dates
Purchasing: Monitor inventory, orders, and refill stock for the clerk pool. Liaise with Warehouse team to ensure inventory is received on time. Order through 'Tracks: intra-department web application
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years' experience in a correctional setting. Education may substitute for up to 2 years of required experience
Communication, supervision, problem-solving, and time management skills
Dependability, ability to multi-task, high performing
