Responsibilities
Enter data into systems
Make edits and updates to existing engineering drawings and projects
Coordinate new small-scale projects
Assemble data and research
Assist with administrative duties
Provide input on solutions to problems using basic theories and engineering fundamentals
Assist with layout and design of routine small and medium-sized engineering projects, including storm drain, stormwater management, and erosion and/or sediment control design
Develop and prepare specifications
Perform construction cost estimates
Perform site visits and construction inspections
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
Valid Driver's License
Full-time undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil, water resources, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
Preferred
Coursework in fluid mechanics, stormwater hydrology
Previous internship experience
Some working knowledge of Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil3D
Anticipated graduation with B.S. from an ABET accredited program in Spring/Summer 2027 or Winter 2027 is preferred
