Responsibilities
Translate business needs to technical specifications
Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
Maintain and support data analytics platforms
Build, maintain & optimize databases (Azure or SQL based)
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, Tableau)
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's or Ph.D. is a plus
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts
Preferred
A background in data analysis, business management or financial analysis
Industry experience is preferred
Background in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related fields (preferred but not required)
Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or robotics is a bonus
