Responsibilities
Prepares and monthly journal entries, consolidating entries and month-end analyses
Prepares various exhibits and commentary required for reports issued to management including outside Directors
Prepares Financial Statements, Consolidation reports and executes Internal Controls
Prepares written procedures on job responsibilities
Assists with special projects, year-end activities and related duties
Prepares account reconciliations
Evaluates and recommends improvements to accounting procedures and systems
Reconciles and analyses intercompany activity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
3-6 years' accounting experience
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Ability to function effectively while meeting deadlines
Strong interpersonal, communication and administrative skills
Proficient with Microsoft Windows environment and have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
Must understand and comply with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts
Needs to identify and bring to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies

CPA Preferred
Familiarity of SAP accounting systems is a plus
