Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with internal design teams to translate key design metrics into technology offering requirement to the foundry to optimize product Power/Performance/Area
Participate and lead cross functional teams to solve key technology definition and design challenges
Support local design teams on PDK components such as LVS, DRM/DRC, Spice models and tech files. Communicate PDK updates and corresponding impact analysis across design teams
Drive design methodology, including DFM and DFY activities with other teams
Verify design reliability and lifetime compliance by analyzing Safe Operating Area (SOA) and aging analysis results
Develop methodology for Yield and die Cost projection of RF products
Recommend RF/ mmWave design guidelines and best practices to design teams
Partner with cross-functional teams (Foundry, Design, Product Engineering) to drive technology decisions, optimize yield, close performance gaps during silicon validation. Ensure production readiness and provide continuous technology support in mass production
Qualification

Self-motivated and schedule oriented is a requirement
Preferred
At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor process R&D and manufacturing
Thorough understanding of deep sub-micron processes, device physics and process integration. Experience with processes for RF products and RF device characterization is preferred
Deep experience working with advanced CMOS node PDKs and collateral such as Spice models, DRM/DRC, LVS, RC tech files as well as Std cells and memory compilers
Design experience in advanced CMOS process, including strengths in transistor level circuit design
Excellent data analytical, problem solving and communication skills are required
People management skills and managerial experience is helpful
Prior experience in success of delivering new designs to production under very ambitious schedules
